Babcock University JUPEB Admission Form 2025/2026: Full Application Guide

Babcock University has announced the release of admission forms to their JUPEB (Joint University Preliminary Examination Board) Program that will run for the 2025/2026 academic year. The one-year A-Level intensive program is designed to help students prepare for direct entry admission to 200-level institutions at Nigerian universities as well as choose foreign universities.

The JUPEB program is perfect for students looking to avoid the traditional UTME process. It covers subjects relevant to sciences, arts, as well as social science based on the field chosen.

Note: Admission to Medical, Law or Nursing could still require UTME, based on departmental guidelines.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible to participate in the JUPEB program:

  • Candidates must have at least five (5) credits at the O’level cards
  • Subjects should include English Language and Mathematics as well as three relevant subjects.
  • Acceptable results: WAEC, NECO, GCE
  • Results must come from at least two sessions
  • The results of awaited tests are not accepted

Candidates must be able to meet the subject combination of their undergraduate program.

How to Apply

Step 1: Create an Account

  • Go to the Babcock JUPEB online application site
  • Select “JUPEB A-Level” under Foundation Studies
  • Sign up using an email address that is valid and password
  • Complete the application form in a precise manner

Step 2: Pay Application Fee

  • Application fee: N10,000 (non-refundable)
  • Pay online with the help of the payment platform
  • The confirmation of payment is required for the transaction to go ahead

Step 3: Upload Documents

Upload the following files:

  • Passport photo
  • O’level results
  • Payment evidence
  • Application form completed

Make sure that all documents are scanned clearly into PDF as well as JPG format.

Step 4: Screening/Exam

  • The applicants may be invited for an interview to conduct a screening
  • The screening location and time will be communicated via email or displayed on the portal.
  • Bring the originals of all your documentation to verify.

Entrance Exam Details

All applicants must pass an admissions exam.

  • Test date: Will be announced following the registration
  • Format: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Subject test: Based on your intention to take an undergraduate course
  • Event: Babcock University main campus or designated centers

Program Duration

  • Time: One academic session (approximately 10-12 months)
  • The program is run by the calendar of the university.
  • Students live on campus and adhere to a prescribed academic timetable.
