The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results of the 2024 second batch West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates commonly known as WAEC GCE. Candidates who sat the examination can now check their results online or via SMS.
How To Check WAEC GCE Results Online
Follow these steps to see the results:
Visit WAEC Result Portal – Visit The Official Website: www.waecdirect.org
Enter Your Exam Number – Write your unique 10-digit exam number consisting of a 7-digit center number and a 3-digit candidate number.
Choose the exam year – Choose “2024” as the exam year.
Choose Exam Type – Choose “PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT” from the list.
Enter Card Data – Specify the serial number and personal identification number (PIN) of the scratched card.
Confirm Data – Click the “Submit” button to view your results.

Compose a New SMS – Type a message in the following format:

Send an SMS – Send a message to 32327. Service is available on MTN, Airtel, and Glo networks.
Important Notes for Verifying Results via SMS
No Spaces– Make sure there are no spaces in the format of the message.
Service Charge – Each SMS costs N30.
Response Time – Wait for a response that will include your results.

PIN and Serial Number – The necessary data to check the results online are indicated on the Smart Identity Card given during the exam.
Usage Limit – Each PIN can be used up to 5 times.
