Apply now for the UBTH Basic Midwifery Programme: The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) has announced that it is now accepting applications for its Basic Midwifery Programme for the 2024 session. The programme has a duration of three years.

Prospective applicants should take note that they must be between the ages of 16 and 34, and they are required to have a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. The application fee for the program is ₦15,000, and interested individuals can complete the registration process online.

UBTH Programme Duration

The Basic Midwifery Programme at The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) is a three-year program that provides in-depth and comprehensive training in midwifery. UBTH Entry Requirements

In order to qualify for this program, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Age: Applicants should fall within the age range of 16 to 34 years.
  • Education: Applicants must have obtained a minimum of five credits in up to two sittings in WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, SSCE/GCE/OL. The mandatory subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

1. Registration: Start by completing the registration process on the UBTH College of Nursing website.

2. Payment: After registration, you need to pay a non-refundable fee of fifteen thousand Naira (N15,000). You can make this payment on the College of Nursing platform or by transferring the amount to the UBTH account with TSA under the service type Training School of Midwifery using the REMITA platform at any bank in Nigeria.

3. Additional Fee: In addition to the registration fee, you must pay five hundred Naira (N500) into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Edo State Committee account at First Bank, account number 2004854377.

– Sales of Forms: The sales of forms for the UBTH Basic Midwifery Programme begin in July 2024. Make sure to keep an eye out for the exact date and avail yourself of this opportunity.
