UNILAG Admission List 2025/2026 – How to Check, Accept, and Register

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has started releasing the 2025/26 undergraduate admission offers via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). At present the primary admission verification process is carried out via JAMB CAPS, while the university portal is expected to open soon for registration and clearance instructions.

UNILAG has also released their officially announced departments’ merit cut-off scores, which confirms that admissions are now in their final phases. Candidates who took part in the post-UTME screening process are strongly encouraged to begin monitoring their admission status on CAPS and also to check UNILAG’s officially approved website for guidelines on clearance.

How to Check Your UNILAG Admission Status

Step 1: Check on JAMB CAPS

  1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal at https://jamb.gov.ng/efacility.
  2. Log in using your email address that you have registered and a password.
  3. Select “Check Admission Status.”
  4. Click on “Access my CAPS.”
  5. Check your admission status:
    • If it says “ADMISSION OFFERED” If it says “ADMISSION OFFERED,” click “ACCEPT” to confirm your admission.
    • If it reads “ADMISSION IN PROGRESS” or “NOT ADMITTED” Keep checking it regularly to ensure that it is correct, since UNILAG makes admission offers in a series.

After you have accepted the offer, take a printout of it. After accepting the offer, print your Admission Letter from JAMB along with your result slip. This will be required for the registration and clearance process for UNILAG.
