If JAMB CAPS shows only “Welcome” on your phone, first check whether the page navigation is hidden by the mobile layout. A display problem does not by itself mean that your admission record is missing.
Try the simplest display fixes first
- Sign in through the candidate e-Facility route linked from JAMB’s official website.
- Open your browser menu and request the desktop version of the page.
- Turn the phone sideways and look for the navigation menu or sidebar.
- Zoom out enough to inspect the whole page without clicking unfamiliar links.
- If necessary, try an updated browser on a computer you trust.
These are browser troubleshooting steps, not a method of changing an admission decision. Do not repeatedly pay for a service because a menu is difficult to see.
Check that you entered the right portal
JAMB has different services for candidates and institutions. A login page intended for university officers is not a substitute for your candidate profile. Start from the main JAMB website if you are uncertain about a link sent through social media.
If a browser extension blocks a window, try a clean browser session. Permit a pop-up only for the official service you deliberately opened. Avoid disabling security settings across every website.
If the menu still does not appear
Record the device, browser, time and what appears on screen. Ask JAMB support for help with the display issue. A useful report says “CAPS opens but the candidate menu is missing in [browser]” rather than “my admission has disappeared.”
Should I clear all my browser data?
Try a separate browser session first. Clearing everything can sign you out of other services and remove useful saved information.
Can a cybercafe check for me?
You can use a trusted computer for access, but enter your own credentials, avoid saving the password and sign out when finished. Never let someone accept or reject an offer without your decision.
