Program Details
The FNPH Kware Basic Midwifery Program is a two-year program that prepares students for a career in midwifery. The program is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Graduates of the program are eligible to register with the NMCN and practice as midwives in Nigeria.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission into the FNPH Kware Basic Midwifery Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Five (5) credits in the West African School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 25 years old at the time of application.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally fit for the course.
- Applicants must have a good knowledge of the English language.

- End Date: Friday, 21 February 2025
- Forms are available at the Admissions Office after paying ₦10,000 to the hospital’s Accounts and Finance Department.
Application Process
To apply for admission into the FNPH Kware Basic Midwifery Program, applicants must:
- Obtain an application form from the FNPH Kware College of Nursing.
- Complete the application form and submit it to the college along with the required documents.
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000.
The deadline for submission of applications is February 21, 2025.
Entrance Examination and Interview
Applicants who meet the entry requirements will be invited to participate in an entrance examination. The entrance examination will be held on March 1, 2025. Applicants who pass the entrance examination will be invited to attend an interview on March 3, 2025.
