BUK was established in 1977, evolving from Abdullahi Bayero College which had been affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University. O’Level Requirements for BUK

BUK requires five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE O’Level obtained at not more than two sittings. BUK conducts a Post-UTME screening (CBT) for eligible candidates. Registration and screening details are published on buk.edu.ng — monitor the site from August onward. Your JAMB score and Post-UTME score are combined into an aggregate for final admission ranking. Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded and your JAMB details are correctly entered during registration.

Direct Entry at BUK

BUK accepts DE candidates with A’Level results (two passes in relevant subjects), ND Lower Credit, or HND. O’Level requirements apply in full. Apply through JAMB’s DE portal and register for BUK’s screening separately.
