- NIPES Membership: Status as a NIPES student member.
- Personal Statement: Quality and relevance of the personal statement detailing the skills gained from the NIPES course and their applicability to the candidate’s academic and professional goals.
- Passion: Demonstrated enthusiasm for engineering or science.
- Alignment: Consistency with the values and mission of NIPES.
