FUOYE 2025/2026 Admission Form: Part-Time or Full-Time; JUPEB and Pre-Degree

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti is inviting applications for its different programmes in the academic session 2025/2026. The Undergraduate Full-Time, Degree Part-Time, JUPEB Foundation, and Predegree Programme are included.

Programs Available

1. Full-Time Undergraduate Programmes

The courses are bachelor’s degree programs that do not require a JAMB UTME. Available across various faculties, including:

  • Faculty of Science
  • Faculty of Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Agriculture
  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Law

The courses include Biochemistry, Civil Engineering (including Microbiology), Accounting, Economics and Political Science.

2. Part-Time Degree Programmes

The program is designed for those who wish to balance work with study. The lectures are held on weekends and evenings. Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

  • Relevant O’Level credits
  • ND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications

The Centre of Continuing Education Part-Time Programmes offers a wide range of programs.

3. JUPEB Programme

The One-year Foundation Programme will allow you to achieve Direct Admission (200-level) into FUOYE or any JUPEB-affiliated university. The candidate must:

  • English and mathematics are included in the five O’level credits.

Candidates sit the JUPEB test at the end of each session. If they score well, they can bypass the UTME and move straight into the 200-level exam.

4. Pre-Degree Programme

It is an intense two-semester (nine-month) academic program that prepares students for life at university and helps them succeed in their UTME exams and other degree programmes.

This is the perfect option for students who do not meet the requirements for direct entry. Admission to the 100-level depends on performance in the program and the UTME.

Admission requirements

The General Requirements for O’Level

  • Minimum of 5 credit passes including English Language, Mathematics
  • The results must be achieved in no more than two sessions
  • Acceptable results: WAEC, NECO, NABTEB
  • Candidates awaiting results can apply, but they must upload their results before the final screening

Duration of programmes

  • Full-Time Degree: 4 to 5 years, depending on the course.
  • Part-Time Degree: Flexible but longer than Full-Time
  • JUPEB: 2 academic sessions (semesters)
  • Pre-Degree: 9 months (2 semesters)

How to Apply for FUOYE Admission

You can apply to any programme by following the instructions below:

Step 1: Visit the official FUOYE Admissions Portal.

  • Use a browser that you trust to access the portal.

Step 2: Choose the Program of your choice

  • Select the best category for you: Part-Time or Full-Time, JUPEB or Pre-Degree.

Step 3: Complete the online application form

  • Please enter your name, birth date, email address, and active phone number
  • Upload your passport photo and O’Levels results

Step 4: Pay for the Order

  • Application Fee: N15,000 (non-refundable)
  • Remita allows you to pay online with a debit card or via bank transfer.

Step 5: Submit Application

  • Check all the information before submitting.
  • You can print your confirmation of application as a reference.

Applications Deadline

The portal for applications is now open. It is recommended that all applicants register as soon as possible. The university will announce the official deadline on its website. Early application is strongly recommended.
