The Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has started selling the JUPEB admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session. Interested applicants can now apply for this one-year foundation programme which offers direct entry into 200 level in Nigerian universities.
What is JUPEB?
JUPEB stands for Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board. It is a one-year academic programme designed to prepare students for direct admission into the second year of university. After completing the JUPEB programme and passing the final exams, students can apply for direct entry into 200 level in EBSU or any university that accepts JUPEB results.
EBSU JUPEB Programme Details
The programme runs for one academic session (about 10 months). During this time, students will take intensive lectures in three subjects that match their intended university course. At the end of the programme, they will sit for the JUPEB examination.
Successful students will be eligible to apply for Direct Entry admission into EBSU or other participating Nigerian universities.

To apply, candidates must have a minimum of five O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. Acceptable results include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE.

- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦10,000 through the online payment system
