BUK Freshers Screening 2024/2025: Complete Guide for Freshers

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has opened online screening for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is mandatory to confirm your admission.
Congratulations on being admitted into Bayero University Kano (BUK) for the 2024/2025 academic session! But the process isn’t over yet.

Step-by-Step BUK Screening Procedure

1. Accept Your JAMB CAPS Admission

  • Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal.
  • Log into your JAMB registration number.
  • Accept admission offer.
  • Print out your JAMB admission letter.

2. Verify Your UTME Admission on BUK Portal

3. Download Required Documents

  • Print your BUK Admission Letter.
  • Download Undertaking Form.
  • Download and fill University Health Services Registration Form.

4. Pay ₦10,000 Acceptance Fee

  • Generate your BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF).
  • Pay through Remita (online or in any bank).
  • Click Check Payment Status after payment to confirm.

Note: The payment is non-refundable.

5. Upload Supporting Documents

  • Scan and upload clear JPEG documents (less than 1MB) of the following:
  • JAMB result slip
  • JAMB admission letter
  • O’Level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) result
  • A’Level result (for DE candidates)
  • Birth certificate or declaration of age
  • Certificate of origin

If any upload is blurry or unclear, re-upload a better version. For help, use the message box on the portal.

6. Print the Acknowledgement Slip

After your documents are approved, you’ll receive an acknowledgement slip.
This slip shows your registration number and next steps.

This process requires all newly admitted students, either UTME or Direct Entry (DE) to take a compulsory online screening. This helps verify your academic credentials and confirm your position as a university student.
