Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin has introduced a scholarship program for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for the 2025 academic year. This initiative, approved by the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Alhaji Chief (Dr.) AbdulRaheem Oladimeji, OFR, offers significant tuition reductions to support medical education.
Scholarship Details
- First-Year Students (100 Level): Eligible students will receive a 30% reduction in tuition fees. This decreases the standard tuition from ₦5,000,000 to ₦3,500,000. Including the accommodation fee of ₦500,000, the total payable amount is ₦4,000,000.
- Second-Year Students (200 Level): A 15% tuition fee reduction is available, lowering the fees to encourage continued academic excellence.
Payment Structure for First-Year Students
- Initial Payment at Registration:
- 60% of the reduced tuition: ₦2,100,000
- Accommodation fee: ₦500,000
- Total Initial Payment: ₦2,600,000
- Remaining Balance: ₦1,400,000, to be paid before the Rain Semester examinations.
