The Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna, has opened the application process for its IJMB programme in 2025/2026. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get direct entry into the 200 level by completing the IJMB programme without having to write JAMB.
The IJMB programme (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) is a one-year advanced-level course approved by the federal government. It prepares students for university admission via Direct Entry. After completing the IJMB, students can apply for AFIT and any other IJMB-affiliated university in Nigeria.
What is IJMB?
The IJMB Programme is an academic 9-12 months programme that prepares students for Direct Admission to Nigerian Universities. The IJMB Board administers final exams to students who have completed the IJMB curriculum. The scores earned in these exams will determine Direct Admission into 200-level undergraduate programs.
AFIT’s IJMB program is perfect for candidates who:
- Missed JAMB
- You can avoid the stress and anxiety of UTMEs by preparing early.
- I prefer an entry route to universities that is more secure.

You must meet all the requirements to be eligible for AFIT IJMB admission.
