Ahmadu Bello University Advises Candidates on O’Level Result Upload and Course Correction for 2024/2025 Admissions

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has issued essential guidelines for prospective students regarding the 2024/2025 admission cycle. The university’s Central Admission Committee has identified two critical issues that may impede candidates’ admission processes:

  1. O’Level Result Upload: Some candidates have not uploaded their O’Level results on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
  2. Incorrect Subject Combinations: Certain candidates have applied for programmes with subject combinations that do not meet the requirements of their chosen courses.

Steps for Candidates Without Uploaded O’Level Results

  • Immediate Action: Candidates who have not yet uploaded their O’Level results are advised to visit an accredited JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre promptly to complete this process.

Steps for Candidates With Incorrect Subject Combinations

  • Course Correction: Candidates with incorrect subject combinations should log into the JAMB portal and change their course to one that aligns with their subject combinations.
  • Further Guidance: Candidates can visit the official ABU website or the ABU Post-UTME portal for detailed information on programme requirements and subject combinations.
