What is the UNILAG Cut Off Mark?

The cut off mark is the minimum mark a candidate should score in JAMB (UTME) and Post UTME to be considered for admission in a particular course. Below the mark means that you will not be admitted.

For the 2025/2026 academic session, the general JAMB cut off mark for UNILAG is 200 and above. This means that candidates who score below 200 in JAMB are not eligible to apply for admission.

However, meeting the general cut off mark does not guarantee admission, as competitive courses like Pharmacy have higher departmental cut off marks.

UNILAG Departmental Cut Off Mark for Pharmacy

The departmental cut off mark is the score required after the Post UTME screening to qualify for admission into Pharmacy. Because Pharmacy is highly competitive, the cut off mark is significantly higher than the general requirement.

For the 2025/2026 session, the departmental cut off mark for Pharmacy at UNILAG is 270 and above.

  • Candidates who score 270 and above have a strong chance of gaining admission.
  • Candidates who score between 250 and 269 must perform exceptionally well in Post UTME to improve their chances.
  • Candidates who score below 250 have low chances of being admitted into Pharmacy at UNILAG.

Due to the limited number of slots, candidates should target 280 and above in JAMB for a stronger admission chance.

Eligibility for UNILAG Post UTME

To qualify for the Post UTME screening for Pharmacy at UNILAG, candidates must:

  1. Score at least 200 in JAMB (but 270 and above is required for Pharmacy).
  2. Choose University of Lagos (UNILAG) as their first choice in JAMB.
  3. Have five O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in not more than two sittings.
  4. Register and take the UNILAG Post UTME screening exam.

UNILAG conducts Post UTME screenings to evaluate candidates based on their JAMB scores, O’Level results, and exam performance. A high Post UTME score improves admission chances.

How long is the Pharmacy at UNILAG?
