Admission Requirements
Ph.D Programs
- Must hold a relevant Master’s degree with a minimum of 60% score
- Duration: 3 to 4 years full-time, or 4 to 5 years part-time
- Includes coursework and thesis
M.Phil/Ph.D Programs
- For candidates with a Master’s degree score between 55% and 59.99%
- Initial M.Phil phase lasts one year
- Must score at least 60% in M.Phil to proceed to Ph.D phase
Master’s Degree Programs
- Must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower
- Duration: 1 to 2 years full-time, or 2 to 3 years part-time
- Requires coursework and dissertation
Postgraduate Diploma Programs
- Accepts graduates with a bachelor’s or HND (Lower Credit minimum)
- Duration: 1 to 2 years
How to Apply
- Go to the university’s postgraduate portal.
- Click “New Applicant” and create a profile using a valid email and phone number.
- Fill in personal and academic information.
- Upload your certificates, credentials, and O’Level results (maximum of two sittings).
- Pay the non-refundable fee of ₦15,000 through Remita.
- Complete the form, submit, and print your confirmation slip.

Additional Notes
- Candidates who earned their degrees elsewhere must request their transcripts be sent directly to FUOYE.
- Applicants working in organizations must submit a letter of release from their employer.
- Program durations are fixed. Any extension requires special approval, not exceeding 12 months.
