College of Health Technology Gboko Opens Admissions 2025 – Apply Now

The College of Health Technology, located in Gboko, Benue State, is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic session. Established in 1996 and nationally approved in 1997, the college offers a range of diploma and certificate programs in health sciences.

Available Programs

1. Department of Community Health
   • Diploma in Community Health (CHEW): 3-year program
   • Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW): 2-year program
2. Department of Medical Laboratory Science
   • National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician: 2-year program
3. Department of Environmental Health
   • National Diploma in Public Health Technology: 2-year program
4. Department of Radiography
   • National Diploma in Medical Image Processing/X-Ray Technician: 3-year program

Admission Requirements

• Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have five O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Sciences, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Accepted Examination Bodies: WASSCE, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB (NABTEB is accepted only for Medical Laboratory programs).
• Sitting Limitations: Results should be obtained in no more than two sittings.
• Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting results are eligible to apply.

All programs are fully accredited by the relevant professional bodies:

• Community Health Practitioner Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN)
• West Africa Health Examination Board (WAHEB)
• Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
