Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The application is invited into the post, which shall be vacant by March 30, 2025. The appointee shall be an accomplished Professor of high repute in research and with ability in academic leadership.
About the Graduate Studies College
The planning, supervision, and coordination of the postgraduate programmes are vested in the College through the Senate of the University to maintain high standards for academic and research work.

Responsibilities of the Provost
The Provost will:
- Oversee postgraduate training, research, and education at UNIZIK.
- Lead the College of Postgraduate Studies and ensure smooth academic operations.
- Report directly to the Vice-Chancellor and the Board of Postgraduate Studies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Professor.
- Be a frontline researcher with a strong academic background.
- Be familiar with postgraduate education administration.
