Goldvida College of Nursing Sciences in Enugu is now accepting applications for its 2025/2026 academic year. The college offers two main programs: Basic Nursing and Basic Midwifery. These programs are structured to help students become qualified Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives. Students who complete the programs will earn a National Diploma (ND) and a Higher National Diploma (HND).
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following standards:
Academic Requirements
Applicants need at least five credit-level passes in these subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
These credits must come from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. The results can be from no more than two sittings. You can combine WAEC and NECO results, but you cannot combine NABTEB with WAEC or NECO.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 16 years old by December 31, 2025.
Awaiting Results
Students waiting for WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results may also apply. However, they must submit their results before the official start of classes.

Online Application

- Complete the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
- Upload all required documents, including your passport photo and academic certificates.
- Pay the application fee of ₦25,444.55 using online payment options such as card or bank transfer.
In-Person Application
Candidates can also apply directly at the school: Address: Number 5 Goldvida Street, 9th Mile Corner, Enugu.
Important Notes:
- Cash payments are not accepted.
- No third party or agent is allowed to collect payments on behalf of the college.
- All payments must be made directly to the college.
Entrance Examination Details
All applicants must take an entrance exam. The school will share the date and location of the exam after the application has been submitted.
Programs Offered
Basic Nursing Program
This program lasts 4 years. It leads to an ND and HND in Nursing. Graduates can become Registered Nurses.
Basic Midwifery Program
This is also a 4-year program. It awards an ND and HND in Midwifery. Graduates qualify to become Registered Midwives.
Additional Information
- The college is officially accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- You do not need JAMB/UTME to apply at this time, but this could change.
- You can apply for both programs, but entrance exams will be held on different dates for each.
- The college does not currently offer post-basic programs.
