Foundation Polytechnic, Ikot Idem (Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom), has officially launched the 2025-2026 Higher National Diploma (HND) admission for full-time study. If you have the National Diploma (ND) and want to move up the ladder into the 200 level, you can join the 200 level.
Available HND Programmes
The Polytechnic offers these HND courses:
- Networking & Cloud Computing
- Software & Web Development
- Statistics
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering (with Electronics or Telecommunication options)

Admission Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet the requirements listed below:
- O’Level Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) credits, including English language and Mathematics, can be obtained in no more than two attempts.
- ND Qualification
- At least earned a lower credit in an appropriate ND program from an NBTE-accredited school.
- The applicants who are awarded a Grade of Pass must be able to complete at least two (2) consecutive years of Industrial Training (IT).
- Industrial Training
- At least (1) year of IT expertise is needed for those with lower credit ND.
- Those with Pass-level NDs must be able to prove 2 months in relevant IT.
