The Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences (BYSCONS), located in Tombia-Ekpetiama, has commenced the sale of admission forms for its Post Basic Nursing and Post Basic Midwifery programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM).
  • Academic Qualifications: At least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age of 17 years.

Application Procedure

  1. Payment: Deposit a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000 into the following account:

    • Bank: Sterling Bank
  2. Receipt Collection: Present the bank teller at the Bursary Department of BYSCONS to obtain an official receipt containing a unique application access code.
  3. Online Application:
    • Visit the BYSCONS application portal.
    • Use the unique code from the receipt to access the application form.
    • Accurately complete the form and upload scanned copies of relevant documents, including WAEC/NECO/NABTEB and JAMB results.
  4. Submission and Acknowledgement:
    • Review the application for accuracy before submission.
    • Submit the form online and print the acknowledgement slip for your records.
