If your NECO token is not working, check the examination details before buying a replacement. A wrong year or examination type can produce an error even when the token was purchased correctly.
Compare all four inputs
The official result checker asks for your examination year, examination type, token and registration number. Copy them from your own records rather than a classmate’s screenshot. Keep leading zeros and avoid inserting spaces accidentally when pasting a number.
Make sure you are checking the correct examination. School-candidate and external examinations are not interchangeable. Also confirm that the result for that examination has actually been released through NECO’s official notices.
Check the purchase record
If you bought the token through your account, look for the token and transaction history. If payment is still unresolved, keep the reference and use the official reconciliation or support route instead of repeatedly buying tokens.
NECO’s results-services page lists both token history and transaction-history tools. These records help you distinguish “I cannot find my token” from “the checker rejected the details.”
Send a useful support report
Record the exact error, examination type and year, time attempted and payment reference. Send sensitive token or candidate details only through an official support channel that needs them. Do not publish your token in a comment asking strangers to test it.
Can I use any token with any result?
Follow the usage conditions shown by NECO for that token. Do not assume an already-used token can be reassigned to a different candidate.
Will a result printout fix an incorrect grade?
No. A printout displays the record; it does not correct the underlying examination result. Ask NECO or your school about the appropriate review route.
What should I save after access works?
Save a readable result copy and the purchase record securely. Check the candidate name and subjects before using the result for admission.
