UBTH Admission form – 18 Month Post-Registered Nursing Programme

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the 18-month Post-Registered Nursing Programme of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH College of Nursing Sciences leading to the certification as a Registered Nurse, RN, for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have five credit passes in WASCE, GCE, or NECO, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, obtained in no more than two sittings.
  • Professional Requirements: Applicants must have a certificate of Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with at least one year’s post-registration nursing experience.
  • Additional Documents: A reference letter from the current or most recent employer and a valid practising licence are required.

Application Process:

  1. Obtain the Application Form: Visit the UBTH College of Nursing Portal to access the form.
  2. Payment: Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000 through the UBTH Treasury Single Account (TSA) on Remita, selecting “Training School – Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences” as the service type. Additionally, make a payment of ₦500 to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee, Edo State, using First Bank of Nigeria, Account Number: 2004854377.
  3. Submission: Complete the application form and upload all necessary documents, including the reference letter and practising licence, by Friday, 14 February 2025.
