Job Overview

As a Storekeeper with MSF, you’ll be at the heart of the organization’s warehouse operations. Your mission is to ensure optimal stock control, maintain accurate inventory records, and safeguard the timely availability of essential medical and logistics supplies. By excelling in this role, you will support life-saving humanitarian interventions in Africa and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Management: Receive, inspect, store, and issue goods while ensuring products are in good condition and properly organized.

Documentation: Maintain updated records of all incoming and outgoing stock, including waybills, stock cards, and inventory databases.

Warehouse Organization: Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper arrangement of goods in the warehouse, minimizing risks of damage or loss.

Reporting: Provide regular stock reports, highlight potential shortages, and inform supervisors of inventory status.

Collaboration: Coordinate with logistics and medical teams to align stock requirements with project needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

MSF seeks dedicated candidates who meet the following criteria:

Education: Minimum of secondary school certificate. Additional certification in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is an advantage.

Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a storekeeper or in a similar logistics role, preferably with an NGO or in the humanitarian sector.

Skills: Strong organizational, numeracy, and record-keeping skills. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software is desirable.
